Justene Adamec is a partner of Pumilia & Adamec, LLP, focusing her practice on litigation. Ms. Adamec has been practicing law since 1988 and has tried cases in both court and jury trials, as well as in arbitration. Despite her trial experience, she encourages all of her clients to resolve cases as early as possible and focus instead on running the business.


Ms. Adamec has authored numerous articles, including co-authoring the Review of California Business Litigation Cases in 2014, published in the 2015 Annual Review Issue of Business Law News. After authoring Drafting ADR Rules for the CEB publication California Business Law Practice in 2001, she became one of the updating authors for the CEB treatise Drafting Business Contracts until 2012.


Ms. Adamec is a magna cum laude graduate from State University of New York at Buffalo where she received her B.A. in psychology. She received her J.D. cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law, where she served as Editor-In-Chief of Southwestern University Law Review. She is a member of the State Bar's Business Litigation Committee.
